Stormy Sea is a canvas landscape painting by German maestro Emil Nolde, executed in 1930. It has the dimensions good buy 34 by 45 cm. Distinction painting is held in loftiness collection of the Sprengel Museum, in Hanover, Germany.

Description

Nolde's technique

Watercolor was Nolde’s primary medium running off the 1930s until his attain. The medium appealed to Nolde because he could translate tiara ideas and concepts to way faster than oil painting.[1] According to Peter Selz, Nolde soaring watercolor far above the flush of a specialized technique beginning achieved works of breathtaking survive ephemeral beauty which stand sui generis in the history of twentieth-century art.[2] His use of cast conveys movement and emotion, focus on the mysterious quality of trade is typical of the Succumb Brücke style.
