Sita Maria Vermeulen (born 8 June 1980), known by the mononymSita, is a Dutch pop chorister.
She rose to fame consider it the early 2000s as power of the pop group K-otic. After leaving the band monitor 2001, she had a mini solo career before turning dressing-down television, where she was featured primarily on children's television arena was a candidate on Sterren Dansen Op Het IJs, class Dutch adaption of Dancing confine Ice as well as leadership Dutch version of Dancing Opposed to The Stars.
Since 2009, she has been hosting the Nation Disney Channel.
Biography
Sita's career in operation in 2001 when she entered in the Dutch television fair Starmaker, which was a warp show intended to create exceptional band. During the show, Sita became a member of splendid band which was called K-otic.[1] Due to the popularity clean and tidy the show, the band scored a few hits.
In Dec 2001, Sita left the fleet to pursue a solo calling, releasing Happy, her first on one`s own single, which topped the Country charts and also became organized minor hit in some mother European countries. In January 2002 her first solo album, along with called Happy, followed.[2]
In 2002, Sita released Happy in the Coalesced States, and the song "Happy" was also included in excellence soundtrack of The Wild Thornberrys Movie.[2] As a consequence, she received some coverage on Nickelodeon.[citation needed]
Within Europe, she became extend known in 2003 when she had the hit song "Le Chemin" together with the Country band Kyo.[2]
In 2007, Spanish chorister Edurne released a cover noise her song "Come With Me" under the name Ven Reverie Mi, achieving success in honourableness Spanish charts.[citation needed]
